About Us
Who We Are
Scrappi Productions Ltd is an independent film and television production company focused on telling bold, character-driven stories with heart.
Founded by writer Charles Antony Sliney, Scrappi was built on the belief that powerful stories come from real experiences — the kind that don't always get told, but always get felt.
Our work spans a range of tones, from grounded emotional drama to high-energy, character-led storytelling, always anchored by authenticity and human connection.

Founder & Writer
I write character-driven stories that explore how ordinary people respond when control is taken from them. My work is often rooted in humour and realism, even when situations escalate into the absurd or extreme.
I'm interested in the quiet negotiations within relationships, the moral compromises people make under pressure, and how identity is shaped through lived experience rather than labels.
Writing allows me to examine these moments honestly and without judgement, creating stories that balance humanity, tension, and dark humour.
Alongside writing, Charles is now developing his work as a director — bringing the same instinct for character and authenticity from the page to the screen.
